33 artists take part in “Aleppine creativity” exhibition

ALEPPO, Jul.28, (ST)- The activities of the Fine Art Exhibition entitled “Aleppine creativity” opened on Thursday in the Fine Artists Union’s hall.

The exhibition is organized by the Directorate of Fine Arts in cooperation with the Directorate of Culture in Aleppo and the branch of the Union of Fine Artists.

It includes the productions of 33 artists, including five sculptors, whose topics varied between heritage, the old neighborhoods of Aleppo, the aesthetics of Arabic calligraphy, the expressions of human faces and their psychological components, the artist’s personal experiences, and models carved from wood and stone.

The Minister of Culture, Lubana Mushawah, declared during the opening ceremony of the exhibition that the event is distinguished and represents one of the types of Aleppo art that is highly accurate, and it is the fruit of cooperation between the official cultural institutions in Aleppo, which produced a generation of artists who tackle  the topics of heritage and types of Arabic letters.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), The displayed paintings show topics related to mother,  bereavement, the lanes of old Aleppo, music, and other things.
