The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that during the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 16 massacres in the stricken Gaza Strip, claiming the lives of 193 martyrs and 920 injured.
The ministry explained in a statement today that the occupation continued its aggression for the 147th day on various areas of the Strip in several forms, including field executions, massacres, genocide and surveying of residential neighborhoods, which led to an increase in the number of victims of the ongoing aggression since the seventh of last October to 30,228 martyrs and 71,377 wounded, pointing out that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as the occupation prevents ambulance and rescue crews to reach them.
For his part, the Acting Director of the Al-Awda Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip announced that the hospital was unable to carry out surgical operations for the wounded of the Al-Rasheed Street massacre in the west of Gaza City committed by the occupation yesterday due to the lack of necessary medical supplies.
In turn, the Palestine Red Crescent Society called for the establishment of field hospitals and the dispatch of medical teams to the Gaza Strip urgently due to the limited capabilities of the ambulance crews, stressing that the occupation continues to deliberately target residential neighborhoods and continue the war of genocide.
During the last hours, the occupying forces shelled a gathering of Palestinians in the AL-Maslaba area east of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City, which led to the martyrdom of 8 Palestinians and injured three others. Others were injured as a result of artillery shelling south of the neighborhood, while the bodies of dozens of martyrs from one family were recovered from it.
In the middle of the Strip, 6 were martyred and others wounded by occupation aircraft shelling a house in El-Brij Camp, as violent raids and artillery shelling continued on homes in the Nuseirat camp and Deir al-Balah.
In the south of the Strip, four Palestinians, including a child, were killed and several others injured as a result of the occupation bombing of homes north of Khan Younis, while three were killed and more than 10 others, including children, were wounded by artillery shelling of a school housing displaced north of the city, amid continued heavy artillery bombardment and shooting in the city’s western and eastern areas and east of Al-Qarara.
Also in Rafah, south of the Strip, a Palestinian was martyred and others injured by the occupation shelling of a house in the town of Al-Shuka, while others were killed and wounded in similar shelling of a house in the Zalata area east of the city, in parallel with raids on Khirbet al-Adass and west of Abu Yusuf al-Najjar hospital in the city.
