DAMASCUS,(ST)_ Some 300 food parcels have been distributed to families in Yarmouk camp in Damascus, the official news agency (SANA) reported Saturday.
The parcels were distributed today by the General Commission of the Arab Palestinian Refugees and The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA).
Director General of the General Commission of the Arab Palestinian Refugees Ali Mustafa declared that the aid were distributed with the Syrian government’s support and the High Relief Committee’s observation.
“The UNRWA medical team provided medical services and medicines to some patients in the ‘Rama’ Street,” Mustaf said, confirming that 9 humanitarian cases were evacuated from the camp.
Since January 30, some 55.374 food parcels have arrived the camp.
