30 volunteers take part in a clean-up campaign in Hama city

HAMA, Feb.8, (ST)-During the activities of the “Hama Re-Pulses” initiative, which aims to enhance environmental awareness and restore the cultural and aesthetic appearance of the city of Hama, the “Khuzama” Association participated today in a campaign for cleaning several neighborhoods in the city.

The association’s director, Khuzama Khalouf, declared that 30 volunteers from the city participated in cleaning the streets of Al-Hamidiyah, Al-Assi Square, Al-Qasr Al-Adly Street, and Al-Sharia, where waste and soil were collected and transported, with wide participation from the residents.

She asserted that the campaign will include other neighborhoods soon.

She pointed out that the association launched, in parallel with the clean-up campaign, an initiative to distribute stationery and school supplies to students of Hisham Basili School in the South Malaab neighborhood, and it is preparing to organize blood donation campaigns to support the efforts of the local community in providing all blood groups to hospitals.
