30 martyrs in a new massacre by Israel in the north-west of Rafah

The Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre today in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, killing dozens of martyrs and wounded.

According to Palestinian media, the occupation warplanes shelled tents for displaced people in the AL-Mawasi area northwest of the city of Rafah, killing 30 and injuring at least 50, including serious cases.

Two young men were also martyred and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the Khirbet al-Adas area north of Rafah City, coinciding with launching several other raids West and center of the Musabeh area of the city, while its forces blew up houses and residential buildings in the al-Shabura camp in the center of the city.

In the central Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians were injured by an Israeli airstrike near Wadi Gaza, and others, including children and infants, were injured in a similar shelling on a house east of Nuseirat camp, coinciding with the continuation of intensive artillery shelling on the southeastern areas of Bureij camp.

In Gaza City, in the northern Gaza Strip, the Israeli air force fired a rocket at a house in the al-Shatti camp west of the city, killing 10 and injuring 17 others, most of them women and children, while 5 members of one family were killed after the aircraft targeted two residential apartments for two families behind the Deir El-Lateen Church in the old Gaza area in the center of the city.

Two Palestinians were also martyred in the shelling of a gathering in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City amid the continued bombing of the eastern areas of the neighborhood, especially al-Sikka Street, which led to the martyrdom of a young man.

The occupation also shelled a residential square in the El-Jalaa area in the center of Gaza City, resulting in a number of martyrs and injured, while the occupation’s gunboats fired on the northwestern areas of the city.

For their part, medical sources warned of a significant spread of some diseases in the northern Gaza Strip, such as hepatitis and intestinal colds, as well as the recording of advanced malnutrition among children amid the ongoing water and sanitation crisis among displaced people.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the number of victims of the ongoing occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip has increased to 37,431 martyrs and 85,653 injured.
