3 Weak Tremors Recorded in the Past 24 hours
Damascus, (ST) – The National Earthquake Center announced the recording of 3 weak tremors in the past 24 hours.
The center explained that the seismic monitoring stations detected this morning at 7:17 am a tremor 41 Km south of Tartous with a magnitude of 1.8 on the Richter scale, and at 8:22 am another earthquake northeast of Homs and southeast of Hama south of the village of Tal Jadid and northwest of Al-Masoudiya at a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale.
The stations also detected at 00:29 after midnight an earthquake in Turkey northeast of the city of Kozan in Adana with a magnitude of 3.8 on the Richter scale.
