(ST)- Three Lebanese were martyred and others were injured in several airstrikes conducted by the Israeli enemy Sunday morning on a number of towns and villages in South Lebanon.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center of the Ministry of Public Health in the caretaker Lebanese government announced that an Israeli raid targeted a car in the town of Khiyam, leading to the martyrdom of a Lebanese citizen, and later it announced the martyrdom of two other people as a result of an enemy raid on the town of Al-Tiri in south Lebanon.
The center also indicated that two other people, one of them was a Syrian worker, were injured in Israeli raids that targeted several villages and towns in south Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli enemy launched forty raids, most of which targeted forested and open areas, namely the forest of the town of Kounine, the towns of Rshaf, Al-Tiri, Hadatha, Beit Yahoun, Aita Al-Jabal, Haris, Yater, Shama, Tayr Harfa, Zebqin, Qana Wadi Al-Azziyeh, Majra Al-Khardali, Wadi Al-Saluqi, the city of Khiam, the area near Qalaat Al-Shaqif, Zawtar, areas in the Iqlim Al-Tuffah and Jabal Al-Rayhan region, including the outskirts of Ain Qana, Kfar Fila, Al-Luwaizeh, Basalia, Kfar Melki, Wadi Al-Dalafa, in conjunction with intensive flights by Israeli enemy warplanes over Sidon and the southern area. The enemy warplanes fly at low altitude over Sidon and the southern regions.
Seven people, including a child, were martyred last Friday as a result of Israeli attacks on towns in south Lebanon.
