The Health Ministry has announced that 3 new coronavirus cases have been reported for people in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus countryside, while 4 cases have recovered.
The Ministry said in a statement released today that the total number of infections in Syria hit 144, adding that 62 of them have recovered and 6 have died.
Yesterday, the ministry announced that 16 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus Countryside raising the total of the registered cases to 141.
It indicated that the infected people were in close contact with an infected truck driver who works on the Syrian-Jordanian road.
The first case of coronavirus was detected in Syria on March 22nd, 2020.
