2nd Exhibition for the Reconstruction of Syria

DAMASCUS, (ST) – Activities of the second exhibition for the reconstruction of Syria will start today. The event will be organized by the Syrian International Marketing Association “SIMA” in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and the support of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce at the Dame Rose Hotel in Damascus. Some 42national and foreign companies operating in the field of reconstruction and services and a number of embassies in Damascus will take part in the exhibition.

Director General of the Syrian International Marketing Association Mowafaq Tyarra confirmed that the participation in the new session of the exhibition of many foreign companies including “Austria, China and South Korea” as well as national companies allows attracting modern techniques from around the world for shaping the next stage strategy.”

The three- day event takes interest in the services of building, construction, real estate, engineering, energy, dynamic, technical consulting, infrastructure, banks and insurance companies.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, lectures will be delivered on the general technical requirements to accommodate the modern construction techniques and the development of production tools for the reconstruction phase, solutions of alternative energy, new technologies in networking and techniques of alternative lighting, technical studies and consultancies in the detection of damaged buildings and basic concepts and principles in the seismic design of buildings.
