27 industrial facilities put into service in Daraa in 3 months

DARAA, (ST)_27 industrial facilities have been put into service in Daraa during the third quarter of this year with the cost 185 million Syrian pounds, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). 
 
The agency quoted the Director of Industry in Daraa Imad Al-Refa’ee as saying that the  facilities are specialized in engineering, food, textile and chemical sectors and they ensured 53 job opportunities. 
 
“In three months, the directorate gave licenses for carrying out 30 industrial projects with the capitals SYP. 425 million that will ensure 94 job opportunities when they are put into service,” he added. 
 
As for craft sector, Al-Refa’ee clarified that 31 projects were licensed during the third quarter of this year and they will ensure 82 job opportunities when they are out into service. 
 
He pointed out that in the third quarter of last year, 35 industrial facilities ensured 102 job opportunities while 40 facilities were licensed and ensured 163 job opportunities.
