26,637 martyrs and 65,387 wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, which has been continuous for 115th days, has risen to 26637 martyrs and 65387 wounded.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that during the past 24 hours, the occupation committed 14 massacres in the Strip, claiming the lives of 215 martyrs and wounding 300. It noted that a number of victims are still under rubble and on the roads as a result of the occupation’s preventing ambulance and civil defence crews from reaching them.

The Ministry stressed that the occupation carried out field executions in Khan Yunis city, south of Gaza, and that it is still tightening its siege on the Nasser Medical Complex and Al-Amal Hospital, which paralyzes the health system’s capabilities in rescuing the wounded and sick.

Regarding the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in shelter centres, the Ministry monitored that 700 thousand displaced people were infected by skin diseases, colds, diarrhea, and hepatitis as a result of overcrowding and the lack of appropriate food, drinks and the medical care required for them.

The Ministry called on the International Committee of the Res Crescent and the World Health Organisation (WHO) to provide medical teams, field hospitals, and the necessary medicines, especially for chronic diseases, pregnant women, and children, in order to support the dilapidated health system in the light of the Israeli occupation’s continued aggression against Gaza Strip.
