Homs (ST): The Industrial zone in Hsaya’a has witnessed remarkable increase regarding the number of the new productive facilities and investments during the first half of 2020 in comparison with the number registered in the first half of 2019.
Director of Hsaya’a industrial zone Dr. Bassam Mansour said that the number of the facilities that started production in the first half of this year rose to 266 with a capital estimated at 69 billion Syrian pounds ensuring about 8163 job opportunities.
In comparison with the same period in 2019, he added, there were 234 productive facilities with a capital estimated at 62 billion SP ensuring 7630 job opportunities.
Dr. Mansour pointed out that the total number of facilities in Hsaya’a since its establishment in 2004 has reached to 935 with a capital estimated at 204 billion Syrian Pounds, adding that these facilities have ensured 25394 job opportunities in various specializations.
