256 martyrs, including 20 children, in the continuous Israeli bombing of Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours

Occupied Al-Quds – The Palestinian Ministry of Health on Saturday announced that 256 Palestinians were martyred, including 20 children, and 1,788 others were injured, during the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA News Agency, the occupation warplanes launched a series of violent raids on the northern and western areas of Gaza City, targeting Palestinian homes, the vicinity of some hospitals, and residential towers.

The raids were concentrated in Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood and Al-Quds Hospital affiliated with the Red Crescent, where hundreds of families took refuge, seeking protection from the occupation’s bombing, WAFA reported.

The occupation warplanes also targeted the neighborhoods of Al-Rimal, the vicinity of Al-Shati camp, and the areas of Al-Mukhabarat,  Al-Karama and Al-Fayrouz towers, destroying dozens of homes and residential buildings, the news agency added.

The warplanes also fired dozens of missiles on the Sudaniya and Al-Wahah areas and on the western and northern areas in Beit Lahia in the northern part of Gaza Strip, using a scorched-earth policy.

Moreover, the occupation raids targeted a number of homes in the west and east of Khan Yunis and the city of Rafah, south of Gaza Strip, leaving martyrs and wounded among the Palestinians.

WAFA indicated that Nasser and Abu Youssef Al-Najjar hospitals in the south of Gaza Strip are no longer able to provide medical services to the wounded due to the damage caused by the Israeli bombing, and that hospitals’ capacity has been exhausted, pointing out that rescue teams and paramedics are facing extreme difficulties in removing the rubble of homes and buildings which fall over the victims and the injured.
