2329 martyrs and 9,042 injured as a result of Israel’s ongoing aggression against Gaza Strip

The number of Palestinian casualties as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip for the ninth day has risen to 2,329 martyrs and 9,042 injured, in addition to widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation aircrafts launched a series of raids on Palestinian homes in Deir al-Balah and al-Zawaida in the center of the Gaza Strip, Rafah in its south, Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in its southwest, and al-Tawam area in its north. The Israeli aggression led to the death of 41 Palestinians and the injury of dozens, bringing the number of martyrs to 2,329 and the injured to 9,042, including the death of more than 47 families of 500 people as a result of the occupation committing massacres by bombing homes on the heads of their residents.

The occupation aircrafts bombed Beit Lahia police station in the north of the Gaza Strip, several neighborhoods in the center of Khan Yunis to its south, and houses in Al-Nafaq Street in the middle, while its artillery bombarded the eastern and northern areas of Gaza Strip.

Ambulance crews are facing great difficulty in reaching the victims and rescuing the injured as a result of the massive destruction caused by the bombing of residential neighborhoods, in addition to the fact that the hospitals in Gaza Strip are suffering from a severe shortage of medicines and medical supplies. The large number of injured exceeds the hospitals’  capacity amid threats of the collapse of the entire health system as a result of the occupation cutting off electricity and water and preventing the entry of medicine, fuel and food into the Strip.

In furtherance of its crimes, the Israeli occupation on Saturday demanded the evacuation of several hospitals in the northern and central Gaza Strip, but the medical staff refused to do so and insisted on staying there and continuing their humanitarian work and providing treatment to the sick and injured, despite the occupation’s threats to bomb the hospitals.

All drinking water stations and sewage treatment plants in Gaza Strip on Saturday were out of service, as a result of the occupation’s aggression, threatening the lives of more than two million Palestinians in the Strip due to water shortages.

Palestinian Ministry of Health said that a  Palestinian was killed by Israeli occupation bullets in the town of Beita, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank.

In  response to the Israeli occupation’s massacres against the people of Gaza, the Palestinian resistance targeted  “Tel Aviv” with missile barrages and “Sderot” with rocket bursts.
