23 killed in Baghdad

A series of attacks stormed Baghdad Thursday morning leaving at least 23 martyrs and over 75 injured, according to local sources.

A number of car bombs and a roadside bomb were detonated simultaneously near markets, public gatherings, and Al-Ahad TV network.

Two car bombs exploded in the area of Allawi leaving four martyrs and 12 injured.

According to al-Manar T.V,a car bomb then exploded in the industrial area of Bab al-Maazam, killing three people and wounding 13 others.

Minutes later, a car exploded in the municipal area in the parking garage; two people were martyred and 10 others were wounded as a result of the explosion.

One bomb also struck near a bus station in the Khazimiyah neighborhood, killing seven people and wounding 24.

Seven other people were killed and 26 others were wounded as two car bombs targeted the popular markets in the fifth police area .
