23 families arrived in state-held areas in Aleppo coming from terrorist-held areas in Idlib

IDLIB, Sep.10, (ST)-Today, 23 families arrived in state-held areas through Al-Tayha corridor in Aleppo countryside coming from areas that are under the control of terrorist organizations in Idlib.

The member of Parliament Abdul Kafi Okdah, said in a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the families arrived safely to the safe areas under the protection of the Syrian army with all their belongings, properties, mechanisms and livelihoods, pointing out that everyone who has a problem with the competent authorities, whether he is wanted or deserted from military service, his status will be settled in the settlement center that was opened last week in the city of Khan Sheikhoun in the liberated Idlib countryside.

Al-Tayha corridor is located at the southwestern side of the city of Manbij in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo.

Over the past years, the state has opened several corridors and equipped them with all the necessary equipment to receive civilians who want to leave the areas controlled by terrorist organizations in Idlib towards state-held areas. But a small number of civilians managed to reach state-held areas as a result of the terrorist organizations’ deliberate targeting of the corridors with missiles and sniper bullets to prevent civilians from leaving and to keep them in their areas of control and taking them as human shields.
