22 martyrs and dozens injured as a result of continuous occupation aggression against Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – 22 Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured as a result of the continuous Israeli aggression for the 67th day against besieged Gaza Strip, amid a catastrophic humanitarian situation.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation aircraft bombed several homes in Rafah, causing the death of 20 Palestinians and wounding dozens.

The occupation also shelled with artillery areas in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of two Palestinians and the injury of others.

The Strip’s hospitals continue to suffer from catastrophic conditions due to the lack of supplies and the large number of wounded.

On Monday’s evening, the Ministry of Health announced the death of three children as a result of the lack of oxygen at Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip. It referred that there were 12 children in intensive care and 6 premature babies in the hospital.

The Ministry warned of the spread of epidemics and infectious diseases, indicating that it is monitoring 325,000 cases of infectious diseases due to the tragic conditions, malnutrition, and lack of drinking water and personal hygiene in shelter centers.

The Director of Al-Najjar Hospital in Rafah said that smallpox, diarrhea, and influenza diseases are widespread among children and displaced people.

He added that there are 1,500 cases of intestinal diseases arrive at the hospital daily due to food shortages, warning that the situation has become very disastrous.
