A high-ranking Russian delegation arrives in Damascus

Russian media: A high-ranking Russian delegation arrives in Damascus for the first time since the fall of Al- Assad regime. The Russian delegation visiting Damascus will hold talks with the Head of the Syrian administration, Leader Al-Aharaa and the foreign minister, Al-Sheibani.

The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said: “Our visit to Damascus comes in the context of strengthening historical relations between Russia and Syria based on common interests.”
