Mortar fire on children playground in Idlib kills 6

IDLIB,(ST)_Mortar attack on a children’s playground in Idlib city has killed at least 6 civilians, including 4 kids, a police command source said Saturday.

The source was quoted on the official news agency (SANA) as citing that terrorists fired several mortar rounds on al-Sheikh Thelt quarter in the eastern edge of Idlib city.

“One of the mortar rounds hit a children’s playground, killing 6 civilians, including 4 kids, and wounding several others,” the source added.

 20 missiles hit Idlib

Today morning, 20 missiles-fired by terrorists- hit the western edge of Idib city, leaving damages to several houses without casualties. 

On September 13, two civilians were wounded by mortar fire on the same city.

“Between August and September, some 1887 terrorist attacks killed 296 civilians and wounded 1487 others, including children and women, nationwide,” Foreign ministry said in a letter sent to the United Nations Security Council on October 2,2014. 

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar support the terrorist organizations in Syria.
