2 wounded in terrorist mortar fire on Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least 2 persons were hurt as four mortar rounds hit the historic Bab Touma quarter and Mazzeh Jabal 86 quarter in Damascus, a police command source declared on Tuesday.

The source clarified that the 2 persons were wounded in the terror mortar fire on Bab Touma quarter, adding that several cars were damaged at the scene.

While the third mortar shell that hit Mazzeh Jabal 86 quarter left damage to a home without casualties.

In this context, local social media said that 7 rockets hit Mohajerin, Malki, Bab Toum, the old city of Damascus, Zablatni and Mazzeh 86 quarters in Damascus, killing 2 persons and wounding 4 others. 

Yesterday, terrorist organizations fired a mortar shell on Adawi quarter in the same province, killing 2 persons and wounding 5 others.

Later today, the official news agency (SANA) reported that terrorist organizations fired 11 rockets from the outskirts of al-Latamneh town on Mhardeh city in the northern countryside of Hama, causing damage to several homes, shops and cars.

No one was hurt in the terror attacks, a police command source in the province of Hama said.

The US, France, Britain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Israel support terrorist organizations, including the so-called the ‘armed moderate opposition’, that perpetrate daily crimes against peoples in Syria, according to world media reports.
