2 people martyred, several injured due to terrorist attack

Provinces – Two people were martyred and 17 others were injured due to rocket attack by ISIS terrorists on al-Joura and al-Qusour neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city, SANA reported.

A source at Deir Ezzor Police Command said that ISIS terrorists positioned in al-Hawika, al-Rashdia, al-Jbila and Haijit Saqar fired 20 rocket shells on al-Joura and al-Qusour neighborhoods, killing two people, injuring 17 others and causing material damage to citizens’ properties.

Meanwhile in the southern province of Quneitra, two persons were injured when terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra with mortar shells in al-Baath city.

 

A source at the Quneitra Police Command said that five mortar shells fired by terrorists positioned in al-Hamidiah village fell on the residential neighborhoods in al-Baath city, injuring a woman and a child and causing material damage to private and public properties.
