2 citizens martyred, 7 wounded in fresh mortar attacks

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ A citizen was martyred and other seven were wounded in mortar shells hit surrounding of the Opera House in Damascus.

Terrorists fired today (Monday) several mortar rounds on the surrounding of the Opera House, according to SANA.  

The Syrian al-Ikhbareia TV channel’s cameramen and his assistant, who arrived at the scene to shoot aftermath of the terrorist act, are reportedly among the wounded.

The terrorist attack caused serious material damages in the Opera House.

Elsewhere, a mortar round landed near “Omaya” School in Baghdad Street in Damascus leaving material damages.

On the other hand, an official source said that terrorists detonated an explosive device attached to a private car at al-Azbakeya station in Damascus. The driver was martyred.
