19 schools put into service in Daraa during the second semester

Daraa,(ST)-The Education Directorate in Daraa put 19 schools into service during the second semester, after the completion of rehabilitation work and restoration of the damage caused to them by the terrorist attacks.

The head of the school buildings department in the Education Directorate, Engineer Radi Al-Wuni, stated to SANA’s correspondent today that the schools that have been put into service are “the daughters of Sheikh Maskin”, the official “Ghazala High School”, “the Al-Falouji High School” in Daraa city, “the martyr Tariq Aziz” in the Harak, and many other schools.

 

Al-Wuni pointed out that the Education Directorate had completed from its investment budget until the beginning of this year the restoration of 167 schools distributed throughout the governorate, as well as the complete restoration of 12 schools and 69 health facilities through international organizations and the implementation of health facilities for 17 schools through the local community.

The restoration work and repair of the damages were carried out by the Directorate, international organizations or the local community.
