19 relief aid trucks for earthquake victims enter Nassib border crossing in Daraa

Daraa (ST):  19 trucks carrying various relief aid on Sunday entered through the Nassib border crossing in Daraa for those affected by the earthquake, coming from Jordan, Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.

14 trucks provided by the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization and the Jordanian government carry medical supplies, shelter, clothing, and various other assistance for earthquake-affected people.

The Chargé d’ Affairs of the Jordanian Embassy in Damascus, Dr. Basil Al-Kayed, said in a press statement that Jordan continues, according to royal directives, to provide relief aid to the affected people within the framework of meeting the needs of the affected people, indicating that the Syrian Arab Red Crescent will transport it to those in need.

Al-Kayed added: The number of trucks from Jordan that have entered by land has so far reached 124, carrying hundreds of tons of foodstuffs, shelter supplies, medicines, and other aid, in addition to 10 ambulances. 3 aid planes were also sent from Jordan and they landed in the airports of Damascus and Aleppo.
