With the participation of 183 companies representing 14 Arab and foreign countries, the activities of the 8th session of the Rebuild Syria 2023 Exhibition kicked off in the new Fairgrounds in Damascus Countryside on September 27th.

The Al-Basheq Foundation for Exhibitions in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing organized the Exhibition.

Minister of Public Works and Housing Suheel Abdel Latif stated that these exhibitions are considered as a link between the local producers and Arab and foreign companies.

According to Abdul Latif, the building materials which are produced by national companies break the siege imposed on Syria and prevented the import of these materials from abroad.

In turn, the Governor of Damascus, Eng. Mohamed Tariq Krishati, stressed the importance of organizing the exhibition especially for the projects supervised by the governorate, such as Marotta City and Basilia City.

General Manager of Al -Bashq Foundation for Trade and Exhibitions Tamer Yaghi referred to the role of this exhibition in the reconstruction process, which reflects positively on the social, humanitarian and economic fields.

The exhibition, which will continue until the first of next month, will witness the participation of businessmen, researchers, international and local specialists.
