17 civilians injured in terrorist attacks with shells in Damascus,its countryside,al-Foua’a and Kefraya

Damascus – 15 civilians were injured in attacks with shells on Tishreen Hospital in Damascus and the Police Hospital in Damascus Countryside carried out by terrorists positioned in Ghouta.

SANA said that terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra and groups affiliated with it that are positioned in Ghouta fired a number of mortar shells which landed on Tishreen Hospital, injuring seven civilians, some of them in critical condition, and causing material damages.

 

Later, a source at Damascus Police Command said that terrorists fired 3 shells at Bab Touma neighborhood, causing damage to houses and properties.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command said that terrorists positioned in Ghouta fired a mortar shell on Ibn Sina Hospital, injuring a civilian and causing material damage to the Hospital.

Earlier, the source said that three mortar shells on the Police Hospital’s surrounding, injuring seven civilians and causing material damage.

The source pointed out that the terrorist organizations fired ten shells on al-Assad suburb, causing material damage to properties.

Two injured in terrorist shelling attacks on al-Foua’a and Kefraya towns

Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization  targeted with several mortar shells the besieged towns of al-Foua’a and Kefraya, 10 km north of Idelb city.

Civil sources told SANA that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists positioned in Binnesh fired several mortar shells on Kefraya and al-Fouaa towns, injuring a 28-year-old man and a 10-year-old child.

Massive material damage was also caused to houses due to the terrorist attacks.

SANA pointed out to the difficulty of treating the injuries as a result of the shortage of medicine and medical equipments due to the terrorist groups’ siege, seeing as al-Foua’a Hospital has been out of service since the end of 2016.
