Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 1,692 attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers on Palestinians in the West Bank during last November.
Wafa News Agency quoted the Commission as saying today in a report on the occupation’s violations and colonial expansion measures during November that ‘the occupation forces carried out 1,472 attacks, while settlers carried out 220 attacks in the West Bank.’
It indicated that most of the attacks by the occupation forces were concentrated in Al-Quds (Jerusalem), with 322 attacks, followed by Al-Hebron with 256, then Nablus with 219, and Ramallah with 109 attacks, while settler attacks were concentrated in Nablus with 62 attacks, followed by Hebron with 60 and Bethlehem with 25 attacks.
The occupation also established 4 new settlement outposts in Bethlehem, Salfit, Ramallah and Tubas, and built 4 settlements road, two of which are in Nablus and Salfit, and two in Al-Kahlil (Hebron).
The Commission clarified that settlers are continuing their crimes of forced displacement against Palestinians, as last month they displaced 35 Palestinian families from 4 villages in Ramallah and Hebron, while they continued their attacks on several villages east of Jericho to displace their people at gunpoint.
The Commission indicated that the settlers’ attacks also led to the uprooting and burning of 3,232 trees, including 3,082 olive trees, in Bethlehem, Nablus, Qalqilya, Salfit, and Hebron, in addition to the fact that they stole more than 70 heads of livestock and carried out 12 thefts of tractors, agricultural equipment, and mobile homes, in addition to 6 cases of looting for the olive crop.
The Commission indicated that during the past month, the occupation forces demolished 46 homes and 43 facilities in the West Bank, most of them in Al-Kahlil (Hebron), Al-Quds (Jerusalem), Bethlehem, and Jenin.
“The occupation forces also seized 20 dunums of the lands of Nablus, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, and Ramallah, while announcing plans to establish 2,364 new settlement units on the lands of Qalqilya, Bethlehem, and Salfit. Jericho and Al-Kahlil (Hebron)”, the commission added.
