The Commander of Anbar Operations of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, Qassem Musleh, announced today that 160 Iraqi trucks and relief vehicles have entered the Syrian territories through the Al-Qaim border crossing.
Musleh said in a statement in Baghdad: “The first convoy of 120 vehicles of various sizes entered through Al-Qaim border point, carrying various relief materials, including food, fuel and humanitarian materials, to the earthquake-affected people in the governorates of Aleppo and Lattakia.”
Musleh added, “The same border point witnessed the entry of the second convoy of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense and the Iraqi government, which consisted of 40 trucks loaded with relief and food materials towards Lattakia Governorate.”
