16 School Teams Qualify for the Local Final Qualifying for the International Informatics Olympiad in Teams
16 school teams from different provinces qualified for the local final qualifying for International Informatics Olympiad in Teams.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement to SANA that 32 teams comprising secondary and basic education students from various governorates participated in the second stage tests conducted on February 8th, noting that the names of the teams qualifying for the final qualifiers can be viewed through the dedicated e-link via its official Facebook page.
The Authority indicated that the competition included tests during which students resolved several computational problems in competitive programming in English within the curriculum of the world Olympiad of Informatics, in a specific period and time using exclusively the programming language (C++).
The final local qualifiers are scheduled to be held in mid-March.
