Occupied Al-Quds, (ST)- 16 Palestinians were martyred and others were injured on Wednesday as a result of the Israeli occupation aggression against the stricken Gaza Strip which has been continuious for the 124th day.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation aircraft bombed the Al-Zuhoor neighborhood and the western and eastern areas of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. The bombing led to the death of 14 Palestinians and the injury of dozens, while the occupation boats targeted the city’s coast.

Also, two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured by occupation sniper bullets in the Al-Rimal area, south of Gaza City, and in the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

In this context, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs warned of the occupation’s invasion of the city of Rafah, and said: “Any move by “Israel” to expand its comprehensive invasion of the Gaza Strip to include the densely populated city of Rafah may lead to war crimes that must be prevented by all means.”

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced yesterday that the number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since the seventh of last October had risen to 27,585 martyrs and 66,978 wounded, most of whom were children and women.
