DARAA, Aug.23, (ST)- A new batch of displaced Syrian families, who were residing at refugee camps in Jordan, has returned through Nassib border crossing to their towns and villages that were liberated from terrorism by the Syrian Army.
“The center of immigration and passports in the Nassib border witnessed on Tuesday the return of 16 displaced people coming from Azraq refugee camp, Jordan”, Head of the center .Lt. Col. Ayham Khaddour said in a statement to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
Khaddour added that the concerned authorities provided the necessary facilities to ensure a safe return, whether regarding immigration and passports or securing buses and trucks to transport the displaced along with their belongings to their hometowns.
Some of those returning told SANA that they voluntarily returned with their families after the improvement of the situation in their hometowns.
