16 civilians martyred, 35 injured in two terrorist bomb attacks in al-Qamishli

Hasaka – 16 civilians were martyred and 35 injured Wednesday night in two terrorist bomb attacks targeted al-Shiyahi neighborhood in the city center of al-Qamishli, in the north eastern governorate of Hasaka.

Terrorists detonated two explosive devices inside Miami and Gabriel restaurants in the city center claiming the lives of 16 civilians and injuring 35 two of them in critical conditions, SANA reported.

The two bomb attacks caused big damage inside the two restaurants.

 ISIS terrorists target civilians in al-Hasaka governorate using explosive devices and car bombs, the last one was on Nov. 28 in al-Qamishli.

Damascus

Meanwhile, two civilians were martyred in terrorist mortar and rocket attacks carried out by terrorists from “Islam Army” terror organization on Harasta Suburb in Damascus Countryside and residential neighborhoods in Damascus.

A police source said that terrorists fired 8 shells which landed in Blocks B1 and B2 in Harasta Suburb, claiming two civilians’ lives and injuring two others, in addition to causing material damage to homes and private properties.

Four more shells fired by terrorists fell in Mazzeh 86 Jabal and al-Abbasiyeen neighborhoods in Damascus city, causing only material damage.

5 other shells landed in al- Kassaa and Bab Toma neighborhoods, injuring 8 citizens.

The attack also caused material damage to a building and number of cars in the place.

2 citizens were injured when 2 rocket shells fell in the area surrounding al-Sibki and al-Jahiz parks.
