The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of martyrs of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the 86th day has risen to 21,822, and the number of wounded to 56,451.
The Ministry said in a statement today: During the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation committed 12 massacres that claimed the lives of 150 martyrs and 286 wounded, while thousands are still missing, indicating that 70 percent of the victims of the aggression were children and women.
The Palestinian Health Ministry explained that the occupation’s attacks on the health system led to the martyrdom of 312 of its staff while 23 hospitals and 53 health centers went out of service. This is in addition to the destruction of 104 ambulance vehicles. The Ministry indicated that the occupation has arrested 99 medical personnel and hospital directors in northern Gaza.
