15 people martyred, 52 others injured in ISIS continued attacks in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor – Death toll of ISIS terrorist attack with shells on the neighborhoods of al-Jourah and al-Qusour in the city of Deir Ezzor rose to 15 persons while the number of the injured rose to 52 during the past 24 hours.

ISIS terrorists continued targeting the citizens’ houses in the neighborhoods of al-Jourah and al-Qusour last night, killing 15 persons and injuring 52 other, mostly children and women, SANA reported.

 Director of Deir Ezzor Health Department Abdel-Najem al-Obeid said that the 52 injured persons, six of them critically, were admitted to al-Assad and Martyr Ahmad Taha Houwidi hospitals during the past hours where the necessary medical aid was provided for them.

Meanwhile, Deir Ezzor Governor Mohammad Ibrahim Samra visited the injured people and stressed keenness on providing all necessary medical care and support to the citizens and the injured people.

The governor pointed out that all medical centers and hospitals in Deir Ezzor are on high alert to receive all emergency cases and provide all necessary health services to the citizens.

Al-Obeid pointed out that ISIS terrorist organization intensifies its attacks against the innocent civilians in an attempt to raise the collapsed morale of its members and ease the bulk of the big losses inflicted upon them by the Syrian Arab Army .

A number of injured persons stressed that the terrorist continued attacks will not dissuade them from supporting the Syrian Arab Army in its war against terrorism and defending their homeland

till restoring security and stability to their city and to Syria as a whole.
