ALEPPO, (ST)- Fifteen people from the towns of Kafraya and al-Foua , who were previously kidnapped by terrorists after the terrorist attack that targeted vehicles in Aleppo’s al-Rashideen area last April, were released and they arrived in the city of Aleppo Thursday evening.
SANA reporter in Aleppo said the great efforts exerted by the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) have led to the release of the kidnapped persons and to their arrival in Aleppo today.
On April 14, 2017, tens of people were martyred and hundreds were wounded in the terror attack that targeted vehicles carrying on board 5000 civilian evacuees from Idleb’s Kafraya and al-Foua towns within a deal that involved also the previously-terrorist-held towns of Zabadani and Madaya in Damascus Countryside.
After the explosion, the terrorists exploited the state of panic among the civilians, kidnapped a number of people and took them to Aroum town in Aleppo western countryside where they have stayed for about eight months.
