DARAA, (ST)_15 detainees from the locals of Daraa province whose hands were not stained with blood of Syrian people were released on Sunday at the hall of the government complex in Daraa.
This step comes within the framework of the settlement agreement proposed by the State to consolidate security and stability all over the province.
Daraa Governor Marwan Sharbak said that new batches of detainees will be released in the coming days, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The agency quoted a source in the province as saying: “Stability in the province has positively affected the situation that pushed to release more detainees.”
The source added that the file of the missing people will be dealt with in coordination with concerned parties.
Over the past two months, the province of Daraa has witnessed a settlement process based on an agreement proposed by the state to restore stability and security to all towns and villages in the province.
