The Minister of Finance discusses with the Pakistani ambassador strengthening cooperation in the financial and customs fields
Finance Minister Dr. Kinan Yaghi has discussed today with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Damascus, Shahid Akhtar, the prospects for enhancing joint financial relations between the two countries.
During the meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance today, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation opportunities in the financial, customs and banking fields, and the possibility of coordination to exchange experiences in the field of tax and financial systems, and to review Pakistan’s experience in automating the governmental activities.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuous coordination to advance joint cooperation between the two countries and develop it to serve common interests.
