The World Manufacturing Conference 2022 has been inaugurated today in Hefei, east China’s Anhui Province, showcasing the latest products, technologies and applications in the manufacturing sector.
According to Xinhua, the four-day conference includes holding about 40 events, including exhibitions, seminars and other activities.
More than 640 companies will showcase their products at the conference, and 568 projects with a total investment of 367.7 billion yuan (US$52.9 billion) are expected to be signed during the event.
According to Christian Wolf, President of the Global Alliance for Small and Medium Enterprises, the global economy faces greater risks of recession and uncertainty, noting that holding the Global Manufacturing Conference at this critical stage provides the global economy with a platform to deepen exchanges and continue cooperation.
