14 people martyred in terrorist attacks at al-Zahra’a area in Homs, Cabinet condemns

Homs – Homs Governor said that 14 people were martyred others were injured in two terrorist attacks targeted Tuesday a security check point in the 60th Street in al-Zahra’a residential neighborhood in Homs city, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

A number of civilians were martyred and wounded in two terrorist explosions at 60th Street in al-Zahra’a residential neighborhood in Homs city, SANA reported earlier.

 

The first explosion was conducted by detonating a bomb car followed by a suicidal explosive belt, he added.

The explosions caused also material damage to residential buildings and infrastructure of the neighborhood.

The Cabinet condemned the two terrorist attacks that hit al-Zahra’a neighborhood in Homs.

Prime Minister Wael Halaqi said the terrorist attacks, supported by some countries, target the Syrian people following the achievements of the Syrian Army on different fronts.

On December 28, two terrorist attacks hit al-Zahra’a neighborhood and claimed the lives of 19 civilians and injured 43 with severe injuries.
