14 citizens were martyred and 8 others were injured in the explosion of a landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorists in Raqqa desert. The citizens were collecting truffles when the explosion occured.
“While some residents were collecting truffle mushrooms in Raqqa desert, a lanmine, left behind by terrorist groups, exploded, leading to the martyrdom of 14 citizens and the wounding of 8 others with various injuries,” the Governor of Raqqa Abdul Razzaq Khalifa said in a statement told a SANA reporter, noting that the wounded are currently receiving treatment and in good condition.
Yesterday, 5 citizens were also martyred as a result of the explosion of a landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorist organization ISIS, while they were collecting truffles in the Uqribat district in the eastern countryside of Hama.
