Moravian Czech Communist Party: Imposing sanctions on Russia and sending arms to Ukraine is not a solution to the crisis

Prague (ST): The Vice-Chairman of the Moravian Czech Communist Party Milan Krajica stressed that the policy of imposing sanctions by Western countries does not represent a solution to any crisis, including the Ukrainian crisis, pointing out that these sanctions in the end harm the countries that impose them more than they harm Russia.

Krajica added in an interview with Czech television : “The sending of weapons by the West to Ukraine prolongs the war and does not help in resolving the conflict”, stressing that the solution lies in holding political talks based on international agreements and the Charter of the United Nations.

For his part, the former Chief of Staff of the Czech Army, General Jerje Shedevi, stressed in an interview with the Czech Parliamentary Papers website that it is necessary to communicate with Russia to reach an end to the war in Ukraine, warning that failure to do so would mean that the repercussions would be global in the form of a food crisis and new waves of immigration to Europe .
