1344 attacks by the occupation on the West Bank last month

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – The  Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission revealed that the Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out 1344 attacks on the West Bank during the month of September.

Wafa News Agency quoted the commission as saying in a report today: The occupation forces carried out 1110 attacks, while the settlers carried out 234 attacks, most of which were concentrated in Hebron with 335 attacks, then Ramallah with 174 and Al-Quds (Jerusalem) with 154 attacks. It referred to the attacks ranged between raids, field executions, vandalism, bulldozing of lands, uprooting of trees, seizing property, and barriers that cut off the West Bank.

The Commission pointed out that last September, the occupation authorities seized 857 dunums of land in Tubas, Tulkarm, Hebron, Nablus, Qalqilya and Jericho to expand settlement operations, while demolishing 116 homes and facilities, 68 of which were in Hebron, 21 in Al-Quds and the rest in various areas of the West Bank.

The Commission pointed out that the occupation authorities announced a plan to establish 1,620 new settlement units in Al-Quds and another to establish a settlement on the lands of the villages of Ni’lin and Madiya in Ramallah, while establishing 4 new settlement outposts in Bethlehem, Nablus, Jericho and Ramallah.

The Head of the Commission, Mu’ayyad Shaaban, said that the occupation’s plans aimed at displacing Palestinians by restricting them through storming cities and villages, executions, systematic sabotage of infrastructure, starvation and persistence in imposing a system of collective punishment have crossed many red lines, and would not have been possible without international silence and flawed double standards.
