13 Palestinians martyred, 214 others wounded in Israeli attacks last month: Report

In its monthly report on the Israeli occupation’s violations against the Palestinian people and their sanctities, the Palestinian News Agency WAFA said that 13 Palestinians were martyred, 214 others were injured and 235 were detained during September in several attacks by the Israeli occupation forces.

According to the report, 12 Palestinians, including a woman and a minor, were martyred by the occupation fire in the cities of Al-Quds, Ramallah, Bethlehem, Jenin and Nablus in the West Bank, while one Palestinian was martyred in the eastern outskirts of the besieged Gaza Strip.

The report added that 214 Palestinians were wounded during the occupation’s raids on several West Bank areas, and 235 others were detained in arrest campaigns in Al-Quds, Al-Khalil, Jenin, Al-Bireh and the eastern outskirts of Gaza.

 In addition, the report said, the occupation authorities demolished 4 houses in Jenin, Al-Quds and Bethlehem and three trade facilities in Nablus and they razed agricultural lands planted with grape trees in the town of Batier, west of Bethlehem.

The Israeli settlers, also last month, launched 49 attacks on the Palestinian cities and towns in the West Bank and carried out 22 raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque during which 6660 settlers stormed this holy place under the protection of the occupation forces, the report went on to say, pointing out that the occupation forces, on September 12th, closed Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in Al-Khalil city and prevented the Palestinians from entering it.

Moreover, the occupation authorities seized 48,700 dunums of Palestinian land east of Bethlehem, razed 30 dunums south of Nablus, uprooted dozens of olive trees in Jenin and committed razing acts in the martyr’s cemetery to expand settlement activities, according to the report.

The report also documented 11 violations by the occupation against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip that caused damage to the Palestinian properties.
