The terrorists fired ten rocket and mortar shells on the neighborhoods of al-Joura and al-Qusour in Deir Ezzor city, and as a result thirteen people got injured and huge material damage was caused to a number of houses and to infrastructure, SANA reported.

Head of Deir Ezzor Health Directorate Abed Najem al-Obeid said that most of the injured admitted to al-Assad Hospital are either children or women, adding that they sustained medium to slight injuries, and that the hospital is prepared to receive all emergency and pathological cases and provide the medical services for 24 hours a day despite the siege imposed by ISIS terrorists on the city.

He pointed out that the Health Directorate has sent an amount of medical supplies including antibiotics, bandages, and serums to the medical point in Harabish neighborhood by dropping it via the helicopters of the Syrian Army.

The neighborhoods have been besieged for 40 days after ISIS terrorists blocked the road connecting them with the other neighborhoods of the city.
