126 teams participate in the World Robot Olympiad National Championship

Damascus (ST): With the participation of 126 teams from government and private schools, associations and robotic clubs in various governorates, the National Championship for the World Robot Olympiad for 2022 will be launched today in the city halls of Lattakia, which is organized over two days by the Syrian Scientific Olympiad Department in the Excellence and Creativity Authority.

The Authority indicated in a statement that the championship, which is held under the globally approved title “My Robot My Friend,” includes three competitions. the primary category for ages from 8 to 12 years to design a gardening robot and the top category for ages 14 to 19 for designing a care robot.

The third is the Future Creators competition, which also includes the three age groups, primary, middle and senior, and is dedicated to home, rescue and health care robots.
