120 doctors from Arab and foreign countries in the Second Syrian International Conference on Multiple Sclerosis in Ale
Dr. Kamal Asad Amer, the head of the Syndicate of Physicians in Syria stressed in a speech during the conference the importance of the conference in shedding light on multiple sclerosis and revealing developments in this autoimmune disease that leads to disability among young people affected by it.
Dr. Anas Jawhar, President of the Syrian Association for Neurosciences, explained that the conference discusses what is new in multiple sclerosis and the possibility of rehabilitating affected patients to re-continue their lives in a way that is closer to normal and to reach the same levels of treatment and dealing with patients in all multiple sclerosis centers.
In statements to a news reporter, a number of doctors participating in the conference referred to the experiences gained in the discussion and dialogue during the sessions. Dr. Safwan Zuaiter, head of the Medical Syndicate branch in Aleppo, explained the problems caused by multiple sclerosis disease to the patients and the high cost of treatment, noting that these sessions can achieve results that contribute to treating patients and serving the community.
It is noteworthy that the conference lasts for three days and holds five practical and online sessions to discuss the latest in multiple sclerosis and to diagnose clinical cases in a practical way and provide treatment for them.
