120 companies take part in the Shopping Festival (Made in Syria) in Hama

Hama (ST): The activities of the monthly “Made in Syria” shopping festival in its 121st session, which is organized by the Damascus Chamber of Industry and its countryside in cooperation with the Hama Chamber of Industry kicked off in Khan Rustam Pasha in Hama Governorate.

About 120 local companies from different governorates are participating in the festival, displaying a wide variety of food and consumer products, clothing and detergents of all kinds.

Member of the Damascus and its Countryside Chamber of Industry and supervisor of the festival, Talal Kalaji, explained that the festival aims to support the purchasing power of a wide segment of consumers by offering goods and materials of all kinds from the producer to the consumer without the brokers at a price close to the cost, indicating that gifts and discounts will be provided on various products in addition to distributing purchase vouchers to the families of the martyrs of the army.

Kaljai pointed out that the eight-day festival witnessed during the first day a high turnout from citizens, which indicates that the festivals are an important step towards consumer support, noting that the next session will be organized in the city of Misyaf in Hama Governorate, and then the festival will move to Baniyas.

For his part, the head of the Hama Chamber of Industry Ziyad Arabo indicated that the discounts at the festival range between 20 and 30 percent of the price traded in the local market, which contributes to increasing demand, adding that the Chamber supports such festivals and encourages their establishment and provides the necessary facilities for their success because its main goal is to support consumers, reducing the financial burden on them, especially in the current conditions of siege that Syria is experiencing.
