12 Syrian Students Graduated from Russia’s BMSTU Gaining Excellent Degree

MOSCOW, (ST)- 12 Syrian students have been graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU) gaining excellent degree within a new batch of Russian and Foreign graduates.

In a statement during the graduation ceremony on Friday, Anatoly Aleksandrov, Rector of the university, hailed the scientific excellence and the high degrees the Syrian students in the University are achieving. He also praised the efforts exerted by the Syrian students during their academic years, pointing out that “this achievement is part of the Russian efforts to support the process of reconstruction in Syria.”

On his part, Syria’s Ambassador in Moscow Riad Haddad said, according to the Syrian news Agency SANA, that “the scientific excellence of the Syrian graduates will enhance the determination of the Syrian people to uproot terrorism and will enrich the Syrians’ process of fighting takfiri terrorism, a kind of terrorism that is odd to the Syrian society. It will also supply the homeland with young minds that would contribute to rebuilding it.”

 BMSTU is a public technical university located in Moscow, Russia. It is the oldest and largest Russian technical university offering B.S., M.S. and PhD degrees in various engineering fields and applied sciences.

BMSTU has wide international cooperation: student exchanges, postgraduates, doctorates, teachers and scientists, teaching international students, common research, education methodology development, conferences, seminars, and congresses. Now the University has relations with more than 70 universities in Europe, America and Asia.
