12 people martyred, 66 wounded in Israeli aggression on residential neighborhood in Beirut southern suburb

12 people were martyred and 66 others were wounded in as a result of the Israeli aggression that targeted a residential neighborhood in the southern suburb of Beirut.

Lebanese media reported citing the Health Ministry that the Israeli enemy warplanes targeted two residential buildings with a number of missiles on a street crowded with people near the Al-Qaim complex in the southern suburb, resulting in the matryrdom of 12 people and the injury of 66 others, including children and women.

The Israeli aggression caused significat damage to the two targeted buildings and neighboring buildings, cars and infrastructure in the area.

The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that the Israeli aggression led to the collapse of two residential buildings, indicating that specialized search and rescue teams are continuing to search for missing persons under the rubble.

For his part, the Lebanese caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati said during a cabinet session that targeting a populated area proves once again that the Israeli enemy gives no heed to humanitarian, legal or moral considerations, and continues with its war of genocide which the world witnessed its horrific images in the cyber aggression that took place on Tuesday and Wednesday, which claimed the lives of dozens of people and wounded thousands others.

Mikati added: This new aggression is directed at the global conscience and the international community that is silent about the violation of human rights, justice and laws
