1,100 Palestinians martyed, 5,339 injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

The number of victims of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip on its fifth day has risen to 1,100 martyrs, including 326 children, in addition to 5,339 injured as well as major destruction to homes and infrastructure.

The Palestinian media reported that the occupation warplanes carried out raids on Palestinian homes in Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south of Gaza Strip, and the Carmel Tower adjacent to Al-Shifa Hospital in the west of Gaza Strip, and Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in the north of it, and other areas along Gaza Strip. The warplanes also bombed Gaza Port and the vicinity of Al-Roots Hotel, west of Gaza, with massive amount of internationally banned white phosphorus bombs.

The occupation also fired artillery shells on agricultural lands, east of Khan Yunis, killing 200 Palestinians and wounding 839, bringing the number of martyrs to 1,100, including 326 children, and the injured to 5,339, in addition to massive destruction of homes, hospitals, service institutions, and infrastructure, amid threats of a humanitarian disaster due to the siege.
